What file types are supported?

Why can't some values be changed or deleted?
Some fields like file type, resolution, and megapixels are not embedded metadata but derived properties of the image file. These values can't be changed directly, but will update if the image itself is modified or converted.
Why do files downloaded from Facebook not have any metadata?
Facebook removes all metadata from uploaded files. Any file downloaded from Facebook will lack metadata except for basic image properties.
